| Panalpina supports the various international and national mandatory security regulations and initiatives, such as AMS and Air-AMS, and complies with a number of voluntary standards like TAPA, BASC, C-TPAT, CSI and Fast. Of course, we also work in cooperation with anti-terrorist and crime prevention programs as applicable.
Security organization and structure
Our security structure is based on Regional Security Directors and a Corporate Information Security Manager, who oversee the group’s operational and information security network. They are supported by and directed in global policies by the Head of Global Security, who directly reports to Panalpina’s Executive Board.
Country-based activities are implemented by local security managers, who report to the respective Regional Security Director on a daily basis. This structure allows rapid implementation of global security policies and initiatives while also allowing for rapid response to security issues and incidents throughout our worldwide network.
Security Awareness Program
A dedicated Security Awareness Program including on-site and interactive training modules helps to maintain a high level of security awareness among all of Panalpina’s employees, service providers and sub-contractors. |
